5 Minutes! Install Automotive LED Headlight in Easiest Way!

Are ever you afraid to replace the original halogen headlights with the new LED one? Are there too complicated tutorial to follow up? To be honest, it can be simple and easy. Even though you are the first timer into the car custom, the steps we brought to you would guard you in the easy, simple but correct way!

Make sure you plug out the original bulbs.

When getting out the original halogen bulbs in your car, please make sure that you hold the “base ring” to.

Step 1: Connect the external adapter to the light bulb.

As the high-end, ultra bright LED headlight, there are usually has the external adapter that stabilizes the voltage inputted to the headlight. It usually needs being connected to the light bulb via the cables.

Step 2: After plugging in, switch it to a stop point.

In our example headlight (HYUGA Headlight U9s, click to shop), the metal base cycle is designed to install easily, and there are some other LED headlight has the same design. On some headlights, the base type has screws to fix, which makes harder to adjust during install. In some headlights, the base type is fixed by “the pin”, which means you only have to switch it to fix.

This step is easy — just plug it in and switch it clockwise (or counterclockwise, depending on your new LED headlight) to the pin where it stops.

Step 3: Plug in the cable to the car.
※ Mind the polarity (+-)

The cable on the input part of the adapter is connected to the car electricity system. This could be your final step. If the headlight doesn’t light up, just plug it in the other way, and it must light up.

Step 4: Tie up the adapter in case that the cables bear pressure.

This not the essential step, but I suggest you tie the adapter to anything that is able to hold it.

Step 5: Check out if the pattern is correct or not.

The easiest way to check the light pattern, is light up the headlamp and reflect it on the wall.

This is the final step that you have to follow through. After install the headlight, the most concerned thing is the light pattern. A qualified pattern shows the gap between the dark and the bright as the photo illustrates. What if you don’t see the clear border of the light in the low beam mode? It is highly indicative that the light glares and would blind any other upcoming drivers and people on the sidewalks. It is not recommended if you don’t check that.
